This floor was an empty floor in one of the many building of Infosys. New company had been floated called as Edgeverve in Bangalore. And some of the operations were to be operated from Pune . Hence an existing empty floor with workstations and cubicle and old cabins were allotted to the Edgeverve Operations team. iPrint was brought in , to re-design the whole floor along with inputs w.r.t furniture design, additional lights etc. The existing cubicles were not to be removed, but had to be given a make over. The overall age group for edgeverve is around 30-45 years and hence the design had to be young, fresh and the floor had to look completely new.
We proposed few of the furniture concepts of which some were rejected and some were approved. We also proposed overall concept of the floor graphics using fresh colours and its was our inputs to use the outer of cubicles as communication and branding space. This helped looked cubicles new and at the same time, saved cost for the client of not changing the fabrics.
Apart from that, there were around 6-7 manager cabins and we proposed them since it’s a young and fresh team, why don’t we customize each and every manager’s cabin ! And then on client’s approval each cabin was given special concept ranging from Cricket to Retail and Innovation Concept.
The Pillars were wrapped used values on which Edgverve is based on . An additional area was then given to us, where they wanted google like concept of jungle theme, we also executed and designed the same.
Furniture Features :- The Yellow Car Sofa was designed and executed using a real front portion of the car. Deco Paint and then the leather seats were installed and dispatched to pune
- The Library Shelf was made using Plexi Ply in order to give the semi circular shape and feature. Then using bright green and orange deco the final product was created
- Egg Shaped Cane Seats with Teapoy . We have used the lightest possible cane along with pure leather quilled seating. The circular stand is made up of wrought iron laser cut customized and then white colour has been deco.
- The basket ball lights were custom made. Using Acrylic , we could develop a circular shaped ball with CFL inside. Post creation of the acrylic ball, the deco of brownish orange colour was done and on that plotter cutting of black colour was done. The acrylic ball was then suspended using the basketball hoop.
- There is one Green Coloured Chair near a big tv. That chair actually has 56 stands and of them it actually stands on 3 . This was also designed and fabricated by us.
- The Sofa below the TV screen is a normal sofa, except the fabric has been customized printed with polka dots to the colour of edgverve brand colours.
- Table made up of Cards Graphics – Also, we conceptulised one of the table and executed using MDF. The outer surface was wrapped using Vinyl with Customised Design.
